Daniël van der Stoep

Daniël van der Stoep (born 12 September 1980 in Delft) is a Dutch politician of the Party Article 50 Until December 2011, he was a member of the Group Partij voor de Vrijheid (PVV ).

Life

Van der Stoep studied International Relations at the University of Leiden. He was from 14 July 2009 to 17 August 2011 and again since December 14, 2011 Member of the European Parliament for the Partij voor de Vrijheid (PVV ). In the summer of 2010 he was under investigation for driving under the influence of psychoactive substances after a road traffic accident by the police. He thereupon brought down from his parliamentary seat for the European Parliament, and he was succeeded as the MEP PVV politician Auke Zijlstra. After the enlargement of the European Parliament after the Lisbon Treaty, he was sent to Parliament again by the PVV, where he first worked as a non-attached Members. Van der Stoep, the party founded in Article 50, whose name refers to Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty. On June 11, 2013 his party joined the movement for a Europe of freedom and democracy.
