Daniel Wass

Daniel Wass ( born May 31, 1989 in Gladsaxe ) is a Danish football player who is under contract with the French first division club FC Evian Thonon Gaillard.

Career

Association

Daniel Wass began his footballing career in his homeland, where he played for the youth teams of Brøndby IF. For the 2008/09 season Wass rose to the first team of the club. For this he came in 84 top-flight used. He also played in the first round of the 2009/10 season on loan at Norwegian first division side Fredrikstad FK. End of May 2011 signed Daniel Wass a contract for five years at Benfica. Without operational League, he was awarded for one year to the French first division club FC Evian Thonon Gaillard, who previously promoted to the Ligue 1, the first French league managed. For the 2012/13 season signed a firm contract for Wass four years at FC Evian Thonon Gaillard. This transfer cost the club around 2.5 million euro transfer fee.

National

Since February 9, 2011 Wass runs on also for the national team of Denmark; in the 1-2 defeat against England Wass was substituted early in the second half for Simon Poulsen. Daniel Wass played since 2005 and for the V - national teams of Denmark; for the U -16 in 2005, he played a total of three times while he completed a total of fourteen caps for the U -17 from 2005 until 2006. 2006 and 2007, denied Daniel Wass for the U-18 selection Denmark's four games, only to come to 2008, eight times for the U-19 selection to use. Already in August 2008 Daniel Wass played for the U -21 Denmark; in between he ran on in November likewise the year for the U- 19 of the Danes. For the U- 21, he was active until 2011, before after the U -21 Football Championship in 2011, in which his team was eliminated after the group stage, then due to age his career in the U -21 was over.
