Daniel Waszkiewicz ( born January 7, 1957 in Chocianów, Poland) is a Polish handball player and handball coach.

The central back player played only for Wybrzeze Gdańsk (Poland), then from 1987 in the German Bundesliga for the THW Kiel and finally in 1990 for VfL Bad Schwartau. He played 210 matches for Poland, his biggest international success was the 3rd place at the 1982 World Cup in Germany. By THW Kiel 1989 he became German Vice Champion.

Waszkiewicz working after finishing his playing career as a coach in Poland, 2006, he was assistant coach of the Polish national team.
