Daniel Wretström

Daniel Wretström (* October 15, 1983 in the town of Salem, Sweden, † 8 or December 9, 2000 ) was a Swedish drummer. He played in the right-wing band Vit Legion (German " White Legion " ) and was killed in the night of 8 December 9, 2000.

A total of seven offenders were charged with Khaled Odeh was convicted of manslaughter and was placed in psychiatric care after the judge had found that he had committed the offense in temporary insanity. Three of the defendants were sentenced to 40 hours community work under the supervision of a social worker. Two were sentenced to 1,800 Swedish kronor fine, a defendant was acquitted.

Since then, every year organized by neo-Nazi memorial march for the Swedish youth will be held in December, attended by over 1000 people from Scandinavia, but also from Germany and the USA. Daniel Wretström is said to have a martyr status. The neo-Nazi organization Combat 18 calls him "a modern Horst Wessel ".
