Daniela Baumer

Daniela Baumer ( born September 8, 1971 in Herblingen at Schaffhausen ) is a Swiss kayaker.

Baumer business since the age of 12 canoe racing and is a multiple national champion in one's kayak ( K1), double kayak (K2) and four kayak ( K4). She started for the canoe club Schaffhausen. At the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996, it reached the 500 m four kayak along with Ingrid Haralamoff, Gabi Müller and Sabine Eichenberger for Switzerland the silver medal behind Germany and ahead of Sweden.

Baumer in 1998 resigned from competitive sports to operate in her job as a teacher in Schaffhausen and Schleitheim. Today she is married to Daniel Tenger, has three children, Linus, Aline and Gian and operates in Schleitheim together with her husband a large dairy and fattening farm, the farm " in the spring ".
