Daniela Simmons

Daniela Simmons (sometimes written Daniela Simons) (* 1961 in Perugia ) is an Italian-Swiss composer, pianist and singer.

Life

Daniela Simmons was born to Italian parents. Even her father was a musician and encouraged his daughter already in infancy. Daniela Simmons sang the first songs the age of three and composed the first songs at age 13. She studied piano at the Conservatoire de Lausanne and graduated with a diploma.

Daniela Simmons ' entry into professional show business is to win the music competition "La grande chance " of 1984, the Télévision Suisse Romande for young artists with a composed by her song " Une autre vie ». The following year, Daniela Simmons went to London and later on a tour of Italy with Enrico Ruggeri, Mariella Nava, Fiorella Mannoia and others.

1986 Daniela Simmons represented Switzerland at the 31 Euro Vision Song Contest in Bergen, Norway with the song " Pas pour moi ", composed by Atilla the Sereftug and was texted by Nella Martinetti. So that it reached the second place.

In 1991 she married the composer Atilla Sereftug. A year later their son was born.
