Daniele Pantano

Daniele Pantano ( born February 10, 1976 in Langenthal ) is a Swiss poet, writer and translator ( Friedrich Dürrenmatt / Georg Trakl / Robert Walser ). He divides his time between Florida, England and Switzerland.

Education and work

Daniele Pantano studied at the University of South Florida ( BA Philosophy, MA Creative Writing, Ph.D. Literature and Translation). From 2003 to 2007 Pantano has taught the writing of poetry and contemporary literature at the University of South Florida and, as Visiting Poet- in-Residence, at Florida Southern College. From 2008 to 2012 has been Pantano Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing and Programme Leader for Creative Writing at Edge Hill University in England, where he was in 2012 promoted to Reader in Poetry and Literary Translation. Since 2014 is Pantano Director of Global Relations at Vanessa Place Inc.
