Danielle Dax

Danielle Dax ( born September 23, 1958 in Southend ) is an English musician.

Danielle Dax began her musical career in 1979 as a keyboard player at Army Turtle and the Crossroads.

In 1980 she became a member of the Lemon Kittens, a volume of Karl Blake. Blake and Dax published on United Diaries with the Lemon Kittens two plates: We By A Hammer For Daddy ( 1980) and The Big Dentist (1982).

In 1982, the band parted ways, and Danielle Dax henceforth pursued their solo projects, while Blake the Shock -Headed Peters founded.

Her first solo release Pop Eyes followed in 1983.

After a stint in Neil Jordan film The Company of Wolves 1984 she published her most famous work, the EP Jesus Egg That Wept, indicating in particular the piece Evil Honky Stomp was an indie hit.
