Danilo Dirani

Danilo Dirani Sé ( born January 10, 1983 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian racing driver.

Career

Dirani began his career in 1992 in karting, where he remained faithful until the year 1999. In the 2000 season he was an interlude in the Brazilian Formula Rio, where he won the championship title at first attempt.

Then he returned to karting, where he remained until 2002. During the 2002 season Dirani moved to the South American Formula 3 for the team Cesario F3. There he was at first very quickly and finished at the end of the season 2nd place behind Nelson Piquet Jr.. Upon successful entry into the South American Formula 3 Dirani went with a lot of confidence in the 2003 season, which he totally dominated. He won 14 of 18 championship races and the championship.

In the 2004 season he moved to England in the British Formula 3 with Carlin Motorsport. He won two victories and finished at the end of the season the 5th Place. For the 2005 season, he joined the team P1 Motorsport, with whom he won the first two races for themselves. However, in the rest of the season he could no longer fight for the top places, as its racing saloon was technically inferior. At the end was a 6th place in the overall standings.

Shortly after the end of the 2005 season Dirani made ​​his debut in Formula Renault 3.5 World Series. He took the team Victory Engineering participated in the two races at Donington Park, but dropped out each time.

In 2006, he joined the Champ Car Formula Atlantic team for Condor Motorsports. At the end of the season he finished 7th. In the same year graduated Dirani testing for the Formula 1 team Honda Racing F1.
