Danilo Popivoda

Danilo Popivoda (Cyrillic Данило Попивода; born May 1, 1947 in Lovćenac, Yugoslavia, now Serbia ) is a former Yugoslav football player of Montenegrin ethnicity.

From 1975 to 1981 he played for Eintracht Braunschweig. Eintracht coach Branko Zebec had brought him out of Olmpija Slovenia Ljubljana. In Brunswick he had initially nicknamed " Popi never there " because it failed due to an injury after a crunching tackle the Intertoto match Eintracht against Vojvodina Novi Sad beginning of the season some time.
