Danish Air Transport

Danish Air Transport, short- DAT is a Danish airline based in Vamdrup and based on the Esbjerg Airport.

History

Danish Air Transport was founded in 1989 and adopted in the same year as cargo airline to operate on. She was particularly involved in special operations such as the transport of animals or as a support for the Dakar Rally. As of 1994, they took charter flights with passengers on since November 8, 1996, regular flights are offered.

The airline is owned by the Rungholm family (60 %) and private investors (40 %). Danish Air Transport has with Danu Oro Transportas a subsidiary in Lithuania.

Destinations

It will be served on their own goals within Denmark and Norway, also the fleet is chartered out to other airlines.
