Danny Harris

Danny Lee Harris ( born September 7, 1965 in Torrance, USA ) is a former American 400m hurdler.

Sporting successes

Harris participated in the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles in part, in which behind Edwin Moses, he won the silver medal in 48.13 seconds. His erected in the lead time of 48.02 seconds is still current junior world record (as of March 18, 2009 ).

Also silver behind Moses Harris won at the World Athletics Championships 1987 in Rome. 1988 Harris missed the part in the Olympic Games in Seoul, since he did not come in the top three at the U.S. Championships. His personal best put Harris in 1991 in Lausanne with 47.38 seconds on. In the same year he won at the World Championships in Tokyo in fifth place.

Harris ranks with his best performance to rank 12 of the eternal world leaderboard.

At a size of 1.83 meters, his competition weight was 77 kg.

Harris was the one runner in Madrid, the eleven-year and over 122 race victories ongoing series of Edwin Moses finished the 400m hurdles in 1987. At the World Athletics Championships 1987 in Rome, he finished in a memorable finals 2/100 of a second behind Moses, coinciding with the third-placed German Harald Schmid, 47.48 seconds in second place.
