Danny Lloyd

Danny Lloyd ( born January 1, 1973 in Chicago, Illinois ) is an American former child actor.

Life

Danny Lloyd turned only two films. His first film was directed by Stanley Kubrick horror film The Shining alongside Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duvall, who played his parents. Danny was at the beginning of shooting six years old and did not a few years, he had starred in a horror film since Kubrick kept him away from the theme of the film. He was selected from over 5000 applicants since he could concentrate long time.

He took on a second role in 1982 in the U.S. television movie Will: The Autobiography of G. Gordon Liddy, German Title: Nixon's right-hand man - The case of G. Gordon Liddy. As an adult, Lloyd decided he does not want to take up the profession of the actor. He now works as a teacher. By 2007 he was an associate professor of biology at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College in Kentucky.
