Danny Whitten

Daniel Ray Whitten ( born May 8, 1943 in Columbus, Georgia, USA, † November 18, 1972 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American singer / songwriter who primarily as a guitarist with the band Crazy Horse, the already quite a few albums recorded with the rock musician Neil Young, was known. Biography

After his parents separated, he and his sister Brenda lived with her ​​mother, who worked as a waitress. As Whitten was 9 years old, his mother remarried and the family moved to Canton, Ohio.

There learned Whitten Ralph Molina and Billy Talbot, with whom he formed the band Danny and the Memories.
