Dante Thomas

Dante Thomas (* 1978 in Salt Lake City, Utah) is an American R & B singer and musician.

Life

Thomas grew up as the son of an opera singer on in Salt Lake City and was discovered by the producer of Lauryn Hill and Pras Michel Fugees member. Already the first single Miss California topped the German charts and was awarded a gold record. In other European countries, he received gold and platinum awards. Shortly after the first album Fly, which also reached the Top Ten of the European charts appeared. In the U.S., he had as yet no such great successes.

In 2002, he contributed to the single of the young singer Inessa. This song reached the Top 20 and remained there for a long time. After this single, it was relatively quiet around Thomas. Only in 2004 appeared the third solo single Get It On. The song was written by German songwriter and producer Obi Wan Keno, David Massag & Denis the menice. The single reached the European top 20 and was in the top two German radio charts. However, the planned album did not appear. Beginning of August 2007 appeared in Germany after three years of break the new single What I Got, in the summer of 2009, the single Is not It True.

On 29 July 2011 the Single Damage Is Done appeared on the label deprotonation P Records, which distributed via Warner Music Group. The single was also placed immediately in the German charts. It is a pre- release from the album Hardcore On Video Tape, which was released in spring 2013. Thomas lives in Hamburg Altona since January 2011.

Dante Thomas took in March 2012 with Kris, the guitarist of gunslinger, the song on this day. This was published on 4 May 2012 as a single. It also adopted in 2012 on the music show The Winner is ... in category " Professionals " part, but resigned on May 11 in the second round.

In the summer of 2012, the single Feeling So Blue, where he participated as guest musician at the Michael Mind Project appeared. The song uses a sample of the 1999 hit Blue ( Da Ba Dee ). Feeling So Blue was on the Kontor Top Of The Clubs Vol 55 - Compilation presented. The single was also placed in the top half of the chart German, Austrian and Swiss top 100. After the successful collaboration was released on 14 September 2012, a new single with the Michael Mind Project. The song is called Nothing Lasts Forever and was presented again on a compilation Kontor.

End of May 2013 released their album Hardcore On Video Tape. The album was originally scheduled for autumn 2011. For unknown reasons the release has been postponed several times. The second single was the title of Caught in the Middle, which was produced by Michael Mind Project. In parallel with the album was released the single Alive.
