Dar al-Ifta al-Misriyyah

The Egyptian House of Fatwa (Arabic: دار الإفتاء المصرية / Dār al - Ifta 'al- Miṣrīya ) is a center for Islamic law issues ( fatwa ) in Egypt. It was founded in 1895. The right panel of experts is headed by the Grand Mufti of Egypt. In addition to the al -Azhar University, it is the most important Islamic institution in Egypt. Since 2013, the Egyptian Grand Mufti Ibrahim Allam Schawki, as the successor of Ali Gum'a in office.
