Darcy Tucker

Darcy Tucker ( born March 15, 1975 in Castor, Alberta ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player who from 1995 to 2010 for the Montreal Canadiens, Tampa Bay Lightning, Toronto Maple Leafs and the Colorado Avalanche in the National Hockey League on the position of the right was winger active.

Career

Tucker, along with Tyson Nash and Ryan Huska one of three players that all three Memorial Cup victories of the Kamloops Blazers were on the ice in 1992, 1994 and 1995. During his time with the franchise from the Canadian junior Western Hockey League winger was elected twice to the Memorial Cup All- Star team and the WHL West First All- Star team. In addition, he was elected in 1994 along with the best players in the Canadian Hockey League umbrella organization in the First All -Star team and was awarded the Stafford Smythe Memorial Trophy as Most Valuable Player of the Memorial Cup. NHL Entry Draft 1993, the Montréal Canadiens secured the rights to the youth players and finally put him in the 1995/96 season for the first time at their farm team in Fredericton Canadiens of the American Hockey League.

This season, the Canadians won the Dudley "Red" Garrett Memorial Award as the best rookie of the season, in addition, he received first operating times with the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League.
