Darkwood Dub

Darkwood Dub is a company incorporated in 1988 in Belgrade Electronica group that included bassist in the original cast Dejan Vucetic, the lead singer and lyricist, guitarist Vladimir " Vlidi " Jerić and Milorad "Miki " Ristic. The guitarist, Bojan "Bambi" Drobac and Lav Bratuša on percussion came in the early '90s to the group.

Darkwood Dub music is characterized by soft bass lines, a mix of percussion and electronic drum machines and synthesizers salient.

In its early days Darkwood Dub experimented with reggae beats, but subsequently they turned more and more a striking blend of trip-hop and rock to. Consistently, the intensive texts trademark of the band.

In 1996 she was elected by the music press in Serbia - Montenegro almost unanimously the best Yugoslav music group. The realigned and sponsored by Radio B92 group in 2000 was one of the most important musical supporters Otpors and the overthrow of the Milošević regime. Today they are the most important indie band from Serbia with a large following in the Yugoslav diaspora.
