Darren Braithwaite

Darren Braithwaite ( born January 20, 1969 in London) is a former British athlete who specializes in the 100 -meter run.

In World Athletics Championships he won the bronze medal with the British 4 x 100 - meter relay, both in 1991 in Tokyo and 1997 in Athens. Also at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, he took up with the season, but missed the final. In the 100 -meter run, he reached the quarter- final round.

On 3 March 1991 he was a member of the British squadron, which set a world indoor record in the rarely spilled 4-by- 200-meter distance in Glasgow. Together with Linford Christie, John Regis and Ade Mafe he scored a time of 1:22,11 min.

He was also in 1995 over 100 m and 1998 m over 60 in the hall of champions Amateur Athletics Association of England.

Darren Braithwaite had a competition weight of 71 kg at a height of 1.83 m.
