Darren Haydar

Darren Haydar ( born October 22, 1979 in Toronto, Ontario ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who is under contract with the Red Bull EHC München in the German Ice Hockey League since 2013.

Career

Darren Haydar began his career in 1995 at the Milton Icehawks from the unterklassigen Canadian junior league OPJHL. As he belonged to the tribe of Icehawks squad in the 1996/97 season, he quickly developed into one of the leading players on the team with 100 points scorer in 51 games. The following year, he reached the peak of his junior career, when he was awarded the best player in the league, having scored 71 goals in 51 league games and had 69 more prepared. In addition, the Icehawks won the Dudley Hewitt Cup as junior champion of the province of Ontario.

Haydar visited from the summer of 1998, the University of New Hampshire, where he was with Jason Krog equal to one of the best scorers. In the 2007 /08 season Haydar scored his first goal in the NHL when he came 16 times for the Atlanta Thrashers used. But the rest of the year he was playing for the Chicago Wolves, who could win the Calder Cup.
