Darren Styles
Darren Styles ( born 1975 in Colchester, Essex, as Darren Mew ) is a British DJ and singer.
Career
At age 16, Styles began as a DJ. He made a name for himself as a team with Paul Hobbs aka DJ Force from 1993. In the area of the Hardcore Happy they were very successful and have won several awards.
Six years later, his collaboration began with Mark Breeze. They formed the duo Styles & Breeze.
In 2002, he wrote several chart hits for Kelly Llorenna, Flip & Fill, and the dance band Ultrabeat, including their number 2 hit Pretty Green Eyes. Also in the duo Styles & Breeze as he had two chart hits: You're Shining (2004, No. 19 ) and Heartbeatz (2005, 16th place).
Since 2006, he has been very successful as a solo DJ on the go. The Hardcore Awards, he was awarded as the best DJ and Best Producer. His single Save Me was the single of the year. In 2008 he released his first album Skydivin, a double CD with songs in hardcore and other styles. It debuted in the UK charts at # 4 on the Billboard charts.
In September 2010, the second studio album Feel the Pressure appeared. It reached number 23 in the British singles chart and was represented there 2 weeks.
