Darryl Banks

Darryl Banks is an American comic book artist and painter.

Banks, who comes from an African-American family began in the late 1980s to work as a professional comic artist. His first professional work he delivered from the series Cyberpunk, one of the first painted comic series ever.

Then Banks designed together with the author Mark Ellis the series The Justice Machine, which was initially and later distributed by the U.S. publishing innovation from its competitors Millennium. For Millennium Banks also drew comic adaptations of television series like The Wild Wild West, Doc Savage and The Monarch of Armageddon.

1993 Banks was eventually hired as a master draftsman of appearing in DC Comics superhero Green Lantern comic book series, which he almost eight years to 2001, artistic supervised ( issues 50-142 ). His creative partner in this series were the authors of Ron Marz (until 1999) and Judd Winick and Pens Joe Rubinstein and Romeo Thangal.
