Darryll Lewis

Darryll Lewis ( born December 16, 1968 in West Covina, United States) is a former American football player who played between 1991 and 2000 in the NFL.

After he was drafted in 1991 by the Houston Oilers in the 2nd round, he played for the Houston Oilers and the Tennessee Titans to 1998 before he went to the San Diego Chargers in 1999 for which he played until 2000.

Awards

In 1990 he was awarded the Jim Thorpe Award for best defensive back in college football.

Arrest

Darryll Lewis was taken on 7 November 2005 by police in custody since he took part under the influence of narcotics on the road, and, again, a half-hour chase supplied with the police.
