Darya Igorevna Klischina (Russian Дарья Игоревна Клишина, English transcription Darya Igorevna Klishina; . * January 15, 1991 in Tver ) is a Russian long jumper.

Life

Klischina in 2007 in Ostrava Youth World Champion in the long jump. At the European Junior Championships 2009 in Novi Sad, she won the gold medal. In 2010 she finished fifth at the World Indoor Championships in Doha. In the same year they increased their personal best to 7.03 m, achieving a Russian junior record. On the junior world record of the German Heike Drechsler failed her eleven inches. In the IAAF Diamond League she celebrated victories at the DN Galan in Stockholm and at the London Grand Prix and was overall in second behind the U.S. world champion Brittney Reese.

At the European Indoor Championships 2011 in Paris Klischina won the gold medal in front of the Portuguese Naide Gomes and her compatriot Yulia Pidluschnaja. In the free-wheeling season they celebrated at the European U23 Championships in Ostrava another victory and increased their personal best to 7.05 m. At the World Championships in Daegu she remained, however, among your options and finished with 6.50 m only seventh.

At the IAAF World Indoor Athletics Championships 2012 in Istanbul Klischina finished fourth. As Fourth of Russian Championships, she missed the other hand, surprisingly, the participation in the Olympic Games in London. At the European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg in 2013 she defended her title with a width of 7.01 m successful.

Darya Klischina is 1.80 m tall, weighs 57 kg and starts for CSKA Moscow.
