Daryl Boyle

Daryl Boyle (born 24 February 1987 in Sparwood, British Columbia ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player with a German passport, which is since 2011 in the Augsburger Panther in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga under contract.

Career

Daryl Boyle began his career as a hockey player in the Crowsnest Pass Timberwolves, where he was active in the 2003/04 season in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Then the defender played four years for the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Canadian top junior Western Hockey League before he was towards the end of the 2007/08 season for the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League debut in professional hockey. In the Norfolk Admirals, he spent the entire following season. The 2009/10 season he joined the Rockford IceHogs, before he moved in January 2010 in the AHL with the Peoria Rivermen. In the season 2010/11 he ran in parallel for Peoria on in the AHL and its cooperation partner Alaska Aces in the ECHL.

For the season 2011/12 Boyle was obliged by the Augsburger Panther of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga.
