An offshoot of the dream ship, the cruise was set to happiness; see main article there.

Trivia

  • The Chief Hostess Beatrice was for many years as nachnamenlos because her last name was allegedly never mentioned in the series. However, this is not correct: In the episode boss's daughter resulted in 12 ( the most successful dreamboat output at all) she introduced herself in dialogue with Sigmar Solbach as " Beatrice Becker " before. In 1999, she gave her name as a result Tahiti then with " Beatrice of Ledebur " to. This was the sequence in which Siegfried Rauch began his service as the new Captain Paulsen. In the first episode of the Love Boat offshoot cruise to happiness, she was again Captain Paulsen addressed as " Beatrice of Ledebur ".
  • The advent of the cooks at the end of each episode, in which the music composed by James Last Dinner march is played, is always a special challenge for the film crew from a logistical point of view. The invasion must always happen as quickly that sparklers burn evenly at the appropriate length. A film editor is extremely complicated here. This is also the reason why is not re-shot for each episode.
  • In the 178th episode of the series Hamburg Dockland ( Once dreamboat ) occur Heide Keller and Nick Wilder on in their roles from the dream ship. Thus the series The Love Boat and its spin-off cruise into happiness and the Series Hamburg Dockland and The Country Doctor, between which there has previously been two crossover, a common series universe share.
