Data management

Data management is the set of all methodological, conceptual, organizational and technical measures and procedures for the treatment of resource data with the aim to bring the data with its maximum utilization potential in the business processes and ongoing operations to ensure the optimal use of the data.

In addition, a professional data management must also take into account the aspects of Daten-/Informationsqualität and data protection. Throughout the entire process chain should be provided for data consistency. Ranging from business acquisition, on the inventory management systems, risk controlling, to the balance sheet is to be considered a complex process chain that affects many areas of a company. Data quality plays in each individual process step a crucial role. Data are then high quality if the data user can perform the respective tasks in an effective manner. This means that the quality of data is always dependent on the intended use of the data. This is usually described in the business processes. By implication, this means that if the processes are changed within the company or adapted to new requirements, the definition of high data quality may change as well. According to the rules for the collection, processing and analysis of data have to be adapted.

The Privacy Policy provides, in particular, that personal data are protected from abuse and may be used only for the purpose for which they were collected.
