Dathus

Dathus (also: Datus, † 190 ) was an early bishop of Ravenna.

Dathus was probably the successor of Probus in the Episcopate. Legend has it that a pigeon had appeared over his head and had so chosen him as the new bishop. Dathus have held office for nine years.
