History

In Dietikon ( ZH) in 1943 Max Daetwyler founded the eponymous company. The focus was on the maintenance and overhaul of aircraft. Max Daetwyler and Lilly Schneeberger founded the Max Daetwyler Co. with the aim to develop and produce components for civil and military aviation. As part of the armament program procured the Swiss Army Mirage warplanes and awarded Daetwyler a substantial contract for the production of Mirage parts. The Daetwyler SwissTec was founded in 2007 as an independent sister company of MDC Max Daetwyler AG and focuses on the doctor blade manufacturing.

The Daetwyler Group and the owners of the companies Hell Gravure Systems, DE, K. Walter, DE and Bauer Logistik, DE put their activities on 1 January 2009 together in the Heliograph Holding.
