Career

After he - became aware through a newspaper advertisement in the Sydney Herald on the band - presented at the band members, consisting of Malcolm and Angus Young, bassist Larry Van Kriedt and drummer Colin Burgess, he was soon selected as the lead singer of the group. He remained, however, only nine months a member before he was fired by Malcolm Young in September 1974, as Evans the rest of the band was too headstrong and so on some concerts, for incomprehensible reasons, did not occur.

This Bon Scott sang with the band; he also became aware through an advertisement on the band. Because his harsh vocals liked the other musicians, Evans was replaced by Bon Scott.
