Dave Hyatt

Dave Hyatt ( born June 28, 1972) is an American software developer who is employed by Apple since 15 July 2002. He is a member of the development team, which is responsible for the Safari web browser and WebKit framework. Hyatt was part of the original team that issued the beta versions and the final version 1.0. He is currently the Safari and WebKit Architect.

Before Apple Hyatt from 1997 to 2002 Netscape Communications. Where he was involved in the Mozilla web browser. During his time at Netscape Communications, he also created the browser Chimera (later Camino ) ( originally called Phoenix), and developed together with Blake Ross Firefox. The implementation of tabbed browsing for Chimera and Firefox sprang from his pen. Hyatt also created and wrote the first specifications of the markup languages ​​XBL and XUL.
