Dave Johnson (athlete)

David (Dave ) Allen Johnson ( born April 7, 1963 in Missoula, Montana ) is a former American athlete.

Johnson participated in the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona part in the decathlon and won the bronze medal with 8,309 points behind the Czech outsider Robert Změlík and Antonio Peñalver from Spain. Johnson was the big favorite in this match, the first disciplines, however, were satisfactory.
