Dave Koz

Dave Koz ( born March 27, 1963 at the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, California, real name David Kozlowski ) is an American saxophonist of smooth jazz and radio host.

Life and work

Koz graduated in 1986 at UCLA in Los Angeles in the tray mass media. Then he immediately began his career in music and played with Bobby Caldwell. The rest of the 80 years he worked as a studio musician, was a member of the Rippingtons and in various other bands and toured with various musicians such as Richard Marx.

1990 Koz decided to start a solo career. This step was successful and the first album, which was named after himself, was well received by fans and critics. With one of the following albums ( Saxophonic ) he was nominated for a Grammy Award and an NAACP Image Award.

From 1994, he hosted his own radio show, titled: " The Dave Koz Radio Show". In it, he presented the latest music of its genre and led to the main sizes of this style of music interviews.

Today is Koz Dave Koz moderator of the weekly Saturday radio show on " 94.7 The Wave ", a smooth jazz radio in Los Angeles and various programs within the Smooth Jazz Network.

In 2002, Koz, the record company Rendezvous Entertainment.

Koz pleaded in April 2004, publicly admitted his homosexuality.
