Dave Meniketti

Dave Meniketti ( born December 12, 1953 in Oakland, California) is an American singer and guitarist.

Life

Meniketti founded in 1973, the rock band Y & T, which until the mid- 1980s was successful beginning. He was the lead singer and lead guitarist of the band that broke up in 1991 and 1995, was re-established again with Meniketti. As the band continued success failed to materialize, he began to concentrate on his solo career. He set up his own recording studio and began recording his first album On the Blue Side, which was influenced by the blues. Three years later he released his second album Meniketti as well as the live album Live in Japan.

In 1986 he was one of the singers on the single stars of the launched by Ronnie James Dio charity project Hear 'n Aid.

2010 reappeared a studio album by Y & T ( Facemelter ) and 2012 live double CD, accompanied by extensive tours.
