Dave Raggett

Dave Raggett is a British computer scientist.

He grew up in England and graduated from the University of Oxford his doctor. It is connected with its development in the early phase of the World Wide Web. Since 1992, he made over the years numerous contributions to the development of HTML. He is co-author of HTML 3 to HTML 4.01. In addition, he wrote a small program HTML Tidy, which checks and corrects the syntax of HTML code on their accuracy, and HTML Slidy that can give presentations in XHTML. In April 2007 he took over the chair of the W3C. Since August 2007 he has been a visiting professor at the University of the West of England.
