Dave Sabo

Dave Sabo ( born September 16, 1964 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey), known as The Snake, is an American guitarist and songwriter of the band Skid Row. He was also a founding member of the band Bon Jovi. He is also the manager of the band Down.

Career

Dave Sabo grew up together with his brothers when his single mother in Sayreville, New Jersey, not far from Jon Bon Jovi.

Sabo was a founding member of Bon Jovi and was replaced before the first studio sessions by Richie Sambora. Finally, he met Rachel Bolan at a local music store where he worked. With him he founded in 1986 Skid Row.

Using his friend Jon Bon Jovi Sabo received a recording contract with Atlantic Records. He wrote many of the songs on the multi-platinum albums Skid Row and Slave to the Grind.

In 2000, Sabo was briefly a member of Anthrax, which did not last long due to scheduling problems.
