Dave Walker

Dave Walker ( born January 25, 1945 David Walker in Walsall, England ) is a British guitarist and singer.

Walker was raised by his grandmother. He made his first musical steps at the local church. At the beginning of the 1960s he played in the band The Red Caps together with his brother rhythm guitar. After another musician had left the band, Walker was singing from now on. The band performed four times on as the opening act of the Beatles and signed a contract with Decca Records, where she released three singles in 1963 and 1964.

Between 1965 and 1969, Walker played in the band Beckett. In 1970 he moved to The Idle Race, the following year he joined Savoy Brown, and took the band three albums. From September 1972 he sang for Fleetwood Mac, 1974, he joined a short-lived project of two members of the band. In 1976, Walker to San Francisco, where he performed with the band of former guitarist of Quicksilver Messenger Service, John Cipollina. When the band broke up, he went on for a few months with Black Sabbath, which had separated at the time of their singer Ozzy Osbourne.

In 1979, Walker David Walker band with which he -actuated some shots. From 1987 to 1991, he joined again with Savoy Brown, with whom he recorded two albums, among others. In the 1990s he was in England a few solo concerts. In 2004 he sang for a project of British blues musicians.
