David Alan Grier

David Alan Grier (* June 30, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan ) is an American actor and comedian.

Career

After the award of the Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan Grier began his career as an actor in the Broadway musical The First. In addition to his work in radio and in the comedy program In Living Color, he was primarily through roles in films like Jumanji, Boomerang and Saigon - Death knows no law known.

At the International Film Festival in Venice in 1983 he won the Coppa Volpi for Best Actor.

David Alan Grier is married for the second time and has a daughter.
