David Anders
David Anders Holt ( born March 11, 1981 in Grants Pass, Oregon, USA) is an American actor. He took the name Anders, since there is already an actor named David Holt.
Life
Anders began as a child with acting. At the age of 17, he played " Philip the Apostle " at a performance of Jesus Christ Superstar in a regional theater. The next year he took over the George in the school production of Thornton Wilder's Our Town. In August 1999, David was adopted by the Schaulspielschule American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, California. Nevertheless, he decided to move to Los Angeles, where he signed with a talent agency. Only after a change of the agent, he got a prominent role that made him famous: the role of the villain " Sark " in Alias . He also guest starred in several series like So Little Time, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Charmed - Magical Witches, CSI: Miami, Deadwood, Grey's Anatomy and Lie to me. Most recently, he has starred in movies, the cinema experienced no recovery in Germany. He was seen in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th season of Heroes as well as in the eighth season of 24. Most recently, he played a supporting role in The Vampire Diaries. His German dubbing voice usually comes from Matt Norman.
Anders has three siblings, two brothers, Jason and Arik, and the sister Maili.
