David Arquette

David Arquette ( born September 8, 1971 in Winchester, Virginia ) is an American actor and musician.

Life

Both his grandfather and his father Cliff Lewis and his siblings Patricia, Rosanna, Alexis and Richmond were or are an actor.

David Arquette was a trainee at the Second City Theatre Group and began his career in 1989 with Francis Ford Coppola's television series The Outsiders.

He was known primarily for his portrayal of the naive cop Dewey in the horror film Scream tetralogy ( 1996, 1997, 2000 & 2011). During the filming, he met his future wife Courteney Cox ( known in the U.S. sitcom Friends ), whom he married in 1999. On 13 June 2004, the daughter was born. In October 2010, David and Courteney announced their separation. In 2011, he was again seen in Scream 4 alongside Courteney Cox and Neve Campbell.

David Arquette is also active as a director and a composer. In his spare time he frequently toured with his band Ear in 2000 by the United States.

To apply the film Ready to Rumble, David Arquette joined in April 2000 several times in WCW wrestling promotion. Although he had no experience in wrestling and showed only simple beginner's actions, he was in April 2000 WCW World Heavyweight Champion. This decision by the leadership of the WCW is still mocked in many Internet forums and considered to be the death of the league. The title held Arquette 12 days.
