David B. Norman

David Bruce Percival Arthur Norman ( born June 20, 1952) is a British vertebrate paleontologist who deals with dinosaurs. He is curator of paleontology at the Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences at the University of Cambridge, where he was director.

He is since 2002 a Fellow of Christ's College, Cambridge and teaches there ( as Reader and Tutor ) geology, biology and paleontology.

He dealt in particular with Ornithischia and among these especially with Iguanodon, on which he also received his doctorate.

Norman wrote many popular books about dinosaurs.

The Chinese hadrosaur Equijubus normani was named after him in 2003.
