David Belenguer

David Belenguer Reverte ( born December 17, 1972 in Villasar del Mar, Spain ) is a Spanish football player in the service of Betis Sevilla. He plays the position of center-back and captain of the team.

Career

Belenguer, played for Real Madrid C in the Tercera División. In the 1990s, he moved several times the club between 1993 and 1998, he worked for five different clubs. For the FC Extremadura, where he played from 1998, he first appeared in the Primera División on. With the club he joined in 1999 in the Segunda División. After one season, he moved to league rivals Real Betis, in which he succeeded in becoming the first division. After two seasons, he moved in 2003 to FC Getafe, with which he ascended to the first division in 2004. In 2007 he was able to move with the trained Bernd Schuster club the cup final.

In summer 2010, Belenguer returned to his former club Betis Sevilla back to the Segunda División and there wrote a one year contract which was not renewed.

National

Belenguer played so far not for the Spanish national team. But he denied several game for the Catalan football team.
