David Bisbal

David Bisbal ( born June 5, 1979 in Almería ) is a Spanish singer. He became known in 2001 as runner-up of Operación Triunfo talent show, which was at the time broadcast by the Spanish television TVE. He then appeared as a backing vocalist of Pink at the Euro Vision Song Contest 2002.

Work

Bisbals first album Corazón Latino was a huge sales success in his home country and in Latin America. With the follow-up album Bulería (2004) he was able to confirm this success. In Spain alone, it sold over a million copies.

In German-speaking countries, he tried in 2005 with a duet with Joana Zimmer to gain a foothold. Let's Make History ( Petra Bonmassar / Martin Frainer / Ina Wolf) though came in the German and Swiss charts, more solo attempts a best-of album, titled David Bisbal and a new edition of his first Spanish Hits Hail Mary, but did not bring the desired success. The Spanish- Belgian singer Belle Perez took this song in the summer of 2006 and reached a new summer hit and so great success in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Contrast, Unbroken is his success in Spain, 2006, his album Premonición popped straight to # 1 a. David Bisbal is the most successful of all casting show contestants in Spain.

On 22 June 2007 the successful single Silencio by David Bisbal also appeared in Germany. After an appearance in Wetten, dass. ? Summer Special on June 23, 2007 Silencio reached number 59 of the year charts, his album Premonición but did not make it into the top 100

The next single release a remake of his hit Ave Maria of 2002 was announced for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The single should appear under Ave Maria in 2008 and are accompanied by a series of promotional appearances. The single release, however, was officially put on hold.

David Bisbal has published in January 2008, his second live DVD Premonición live with concert clips during a performance in Barcelona as part of his world tour in 2007.

He has recorded with the Somali singer K'naan a Spanish- English version of the song Wavin 'Flag for the 2010 to be held in South Africa Football World Cup in early 2010. With this song they performed 23 May 2010 at Wetten, dass ..? in Palma, Mallorca.

Private

He had a relationship with Elena Tablada that their daughter Ella brought on 15 February 2010 to the world. The couple separated in June 2011.
