David Blue (musician)

David Blue ( born February 18, 1941 in Providence, Rhode Iceland, (NY ), † December 2, 1982 in New York City; actually Stuart David Cohen ) was an American singer, guitarist and actor.

Life

David Blue was part of the folk music scene of Greenwich Village, the artists such as Bob Dylan and Phil Ochs was a member. His song " Outlaw Man" is known, he wrote for the Eagles and their album desperado was released in 1973. He even brought out seven studio albums. He also took part in Bob Dylan's Rolling Thunder Revue.

As an actor, David Blue had among other roles in Wim Wenders' The American Friend, and Neil Young's comedy film Human Highway.

David Blue died 41 years old from a heart attack he suffered while jogging in Washington Square Park.
