David Call

David Call ( born February 8, 1982 in Issaquah, Washington ) is an American actor.

Life and career

Call David visited the NYU Tisch School of the Arts and the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School.

His first film appearance in 2005 in The Notorious Bettie Page. Later in his career he was featured in the movie Beautiful Ohio on the side of Julianna Margulies and Michelle Trachtenberg. In 2009, he starred alongside Sarah Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant in Did You Hear About the Morgans? the role of Doc D. Simmons.

Call appeared further in the series Canterbuy 's Law, Criminal Intent - Crime Scene Investigation, Army Wives, Numbers - The logic of the crime, Mercy, Rescue Me, and Fringe - Special cases of the FBI. He had a longer story arc between 2010 and 2011 in the fourth season of The CW series Gossip Girl as young Benjamin "Ben" Donovan. He became known in the U.S. Through this role and that of Paul Kempton in Mercy.
