David Claerbout

David Claerbout (* 1969 in Kortrijk, Belgium) is a Belgian video artist who works with photography, film, video, sound, digital media and drawings. He became famous for his large-scale video installations and film projections.

Life

Claerbout is a skilled painter who expanded his work to photographic and cinematic techniques. Nationaal Hoger Instituut He studied at voor Schone Kunsten in Antwerp from 1992 to 1995, where he attended the painting class.
