David Degen

David Degen ( 2007)

David Degen ( * February 15, 1983 in Liestal ) is a Swiss football player with FC Basel, where his twin brother Philipp Degen is under contract. David Degen and his brother, a member of the Swiss national team and was in the squad for the 2006 World Cup.

Career

Degen played from 2003 to 2006 for FC Basel in the Swiss Super League, but where he did not much used. He had a contract until 2007, but he broke up prematurely. Its position in Basel was the right midfield but can also play as a hanging tip by storm.

In July 2006 he signed a contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach until 2009. On 14 October 2006, he ran against VfL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga for the first time on and immediately scored his first goal. However, it also subsequently failed him to earn a regular place in the team.
