David Dixon

David Dixon ( born October 28, 1947 in Derby) is a British actor and screenwriter.

Life

Dixon and his family moved to Nottingham in 1959. As an actor, he played mainly in television series, his most famous role is that of Ford Prefect in the BBC TV series The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (1981). In the later episodes of the same series the BBC radio he speaks some roles, but not that of Ford Prefect. Since the late 1960s he played in various British television productions, including Prince John in The Legend of Robin Hood (1975).
