David Duke

David Ernest Duke ( born July 1, 1950 in Tulsa, Oklahoma) is an American politician. The former member of the House of Representatives from Louisiana was a leading member of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. Duke represents the ideology of White Supremacy and came forward with anti-Semitic statements.

Political career

Duke competed in 1975 for the Democrats for a seat in the Senate from Louisiana. This remained as unsuccessful as his participation in the primaries ( primaries ) for the office of President of the United States 1988. Joining the Democrats to the Republican Party, he was from 1989 to 1992 deputy in the House of Representatives from Louisiana.
