David Feldman (philatelist)

David Feldman ( born 1947 in Dublin) is Berufsphilatelist, auctioneer and author, who hails from Ireland.

At the age of eight years he organized a barter among students. In 1958, he made ​​it into a stamp club with mail order and held its first auction in 1967 from. In 1968 he graduated from both in business administration as well as in philosophy with distinction. In the same year he wrote a bestseller about Irish Philately entitled " Handbook of Irish Philately ". When he met a Swiss 1973, he moved to Switzerland. In his auctions he was able to achieve record prices repeatedly, among other things, the so-called " Bordeaux Letter ". In 1993, he auctioned the Mauritius stamps of Hiroyuki Kanai at a unique auction.
